Workshop on Muslim World held at IU


KUSHTIA: A day-long workshop on “Present Muslim World” held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia due to increase the awareness, providing comprehensive guide line to the students in advance and ensuring conductive learning environment.

IU Da’wah and Islamic Studies department organized the workshop at the Youth Development Directorates in Kushtia Town on Thursday around 10:00am.

Prof Dr M Shahidul Islam Nuri, chairman of the department present here as the chief guest while Masudul Hasan Malik, deputy director, department of Youth Development in Kushtia attended as the special guest and M Mahbubur Rahman, coordinator of the Youth Development addressed as the honorable guest at the workshop.

Prof Dr M Iqbal Hossain of the department was the course leader at the group presentation here with 18 groups submitted the assignment about Muslim countries in the world.

The students of the department discussed over 19 Muslim countries including Egypt, Comoros, Sudan, Senegal, Mauritania and Ivory Cost.
